DC convenes primary consultation meeting with MLAs
UDHAMPUR: In line with the directions of the Finance Department regarding the collation of major development plans for priority implementation, a Primary Consultation meeting was convened by Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, with the Members of the Legislative Assembly of the four constituencies of District Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by MLA Udhampur West, Pawan Kumar Gupta; MLA Chenani, Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA Udhampur East, Ranbir Singh Pathania and MLA Ramnagar, Sunil Bhardwaj, Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh and other district officers.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various aspects of the development agenda, including Prioritization of sector-wise works, ensuring a structured approach to development, Drafting constituency-wise proposals for priority projects, Compilation of major development projects for submission.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to draft a comprehensive proposal of priority projects in consultation with the MLAs and ensure its submission by the evening. She further emphasized that the proposal should be inclusive of all key sectors and reflect the developmental priorities of each constituency.
The officers were instructed to prepare a well-structured draft that encompasses all priority works and submit it to the respective MLAs for further deliberation.
