PHAGWARA: Tension prevailed here as a man was killed after he allegedly desecrated Gurdwara Chhevi Patshahi at Bansanwala Bazaar.
The incident took place at 3 am on Tuesday.
It is learnt that a migrant stayed at the gurdwara and allegedly desecrated it. A Nihang reportedly captured it on video and allegedly killed the man.
A sharp-edged weapon was used to kill the man. The accused has been arrested.
In the video recorded by the Nihang, the migrant said he had been sent by one Sukhi for the desecration. But he said that he had done nothing as of now.
The body has been sent to Jalandhar for post-mortem.
