KISHTWAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pawan Kotwal today chaired a meeting to review the progress of registrations on the JK Samadhan Portal 2.0.
The meeting focused on evaluating the current status of registrations, identifying gaps, and implementing measures to enhance the process.
The ADC emphasized the critical role of the portal in streamlining grievances redressal mechanism, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency in addressing public complaints. He directed the line departments to maximize outreach and ensure active public participation in the registration process.
He specifically instructed Supervisors and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to register left out citizens within the next five days to achieve the targets set by the government.
Furthermore, the ADC directed the Election Registration Officers (AEROs) to closely monitor the registration progress and submit daily reports to ensure timely completion of the process.
Stressing the importance of public awareness, the ADC urged all stakeholders to actively sensitize citizens about the JK Samadhan Portal, highlighting the benefits of timely grievance registration and resolution through the platform.
The meeting was attended by ACR Idrees Lone, Tehsildars/AEROs, Deputy CEO, Supervisors, BLOs, and other concerned officials.
