SINGAPORE: An independent disaster relief agency in the republic will provide aid to victims of the earthquake in Turkey.
The Mercy Relief team in Turkey will provide ready meals, drinking water, hygiene kits, blankets and tents to the worst-affected families.
“Our priority is to provide immediate relief to the victims, such as food, warm clothing, shelter, and hygiene kits,” said Satwant Singh, chairman of the Mercy Relief board, in a statement today.
Mercy Relief also said it would launch a fundraising appeal in Singapore.
