Series of grievances redressal camps held across Ramban on Day 4 of “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur” campaign

RAMBAN: On the fourth day of the “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur” campaign under Good Governance Week 2024, the District Administration Ramban, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, reached out to the residents of Blocks Rajgarh and Batote to address public grievances and enhance service delivery at their doorsteps. As many as 52 grievances were resolved on the spot by the concerned departments,

At Block Rajgarh, a team of officers led by local BDO Ashfaq Tantry and BDO Headquarter Shalini Chandel, along with Naib Tehsildar Rajgarh, AE Jal Shakti, and officers from the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, PDD, and other departments, addressed and resolved all 20 grievances of varied nature. The camp emphasized prompt resolution of public issues, strengthening the link between governance and rural communities.

Similar camp was held in Block Batote with a special focus on the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur”.  Local Tehsildar Vijay Sharma, local BDO  Kavita Bendhral and officers from various departments attended to the public grievances engaged the rural populace through interactive sessions.

The villagers were also educated on multiple government schemes, including MGNREGA, PMAY, and other welfare initiatives aimed at empowering rural communities. Additionally, digital literacy workshops were conducted to familiarize residents with online government services, ensuring greater accessibility and transparency.

The camps concluded with an open forum where villagers shared their concerns and suggestions for improving governance. The administration assured them that their feedback would be considered for enhancing services delivery and addressing local issues effectively.
