SRINAGAR: Secretary ARI and Trainings, Shabnam Kamili, today visited the Government Press Srinagar, Sempora and inspected functioning of all its sections.
The Secretary had an extensive tour of different sections of the press complex where she inspected the ongoing works. She interacted with the press employees enquiring them about the functioning of their respective units.
She also took stock of election related works besides other government tasks being executed in different wings of the press. She directed the General Manager, Government Press Srinagar, Aijaz Ahmad Akhoon, to execute and expedite the Lok Sabha election works on priority basis.
The Commissioner Secretary ensured the press officials that their HR issues will be addressed promptly including holding of DPCs. In this regard, he instructed the General Manager for furnishing proposals to the Administrative Department.
