DC pushes for coverage of remote, inaccessible areas
REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the activity plan for Good Governance Week 2024 and launch of “Prashasan Gaon ki Ore” Campaign in the District. She directed officials to organize awareness and grievance redressal camps in a decentralized manner to reach out to remote and inaccessible areas. The initiative aims to enhance citizens’ engagement and ensure equitable access to government services.
Emphasis was laid on the qualitative and timely resolution of grievances registered on platforms like CPGRAMS and JKSAMADHAAN and improving public services delivery. Officials were instructed to align grievance redressal with the broader goals of transparency and accountability during the week-long campaign.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged the Departments to help eligible persons in availing different government schemes by facilitating online submission of applications. She also directed Lead District Manager (LDM) Reasi to expedite the sanctioning and disbursement of pending credit linked scheme cases at banks. She called for proper scheduling of outreach programs to maximize awareness and participation, ensuring Good Governance Week reaches every corner of the district.
ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, ADC Kulbushan Khajuria, CPO Narinder Kumar and all district officers were present in the meet.
