NEW DELHI: In a touching acknowledgment of talent and creativity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently sent a personal letter to Diya Gosai, a young artist from Vadodara, for her artistic contributions during his roadshow on October 28.

Diya, overwhelmed with emotion, described the recognition as a moment of immense pride and inspiration.

The Prime Minister praised Diya for her sketches, which included portraits of him and Spanish President Pedro Sánchez.

“It was an indescribable joy to receive the beautiful picture gift from you during the Vadodara roadshow,” PM Modi wrote in his letter, adding that President Sánchez was equally impressed by her artistry.

The event had been a defining moment for Diya. Standing in the crowd with her sketches, she hoped to catch the leaders’ attention. To her astonishment, both PM Modi and President Sánchez stepped out of their vehicle to personally accept her artwork.

In his letter, PM Modi commended her dedication to fine arts and encouraged her to continue pursuing her passion. “I am confident that our youth will play a leading role in building a Viksit Bharat,” he wrote, reaffirming his belief in the potential of India’s young talents.

For Diya, the recognition has been a source of immense motivation. “I feel immense pride in being a small contributor, a humble part of our nation’s journey,” she said, expressing her gratitude for the encouragement from the country’s leader.
