PhysicsWallah expands presence in Srinagar with second tech-enabled offline Vidyapeeth Center

SRINAGAR: PhysicsWallah (PW), an education company, has expanded its presence in Srinagar with the inauguration of a new tech-enabled PW Vidyapeeth centre at Rajbagh. Furthermore, registration for the PWSAT is also open, allowing students the opportunity to secure tuition fee waivers for offline courses.

The exam will be conducted in both offline and online modes and will be open to students from class 7 to 12, as well as droppers aspiring to study for JEE or NEET. PW Vidyapeeths are tech-enabled offline centres where students attend in-person classes led by experienced teachers.

The new PW Vidyapeeth is located on the 2nd & 3rd Floor, The Qureshiees, Near Modern Hospital, Rajbagh Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir-190008. PW’s other existing Vidyapeeth centre in the city is situated in Bhagat. Ankit Gupta, CEO Offline, PhysicsWallah (PW) said, “At PW we always try to find avenues of making students’ learning experience better. By opening a new centre in Srinagar, in addition to our existing centre, we aim to provide our service to more students and bring quality education closer to their homes.”

PhysicsWallah (PW), an education platform, was founded in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari. Headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, PW aims to democratize education through online, offline and hybrid platforms. Initially launched as a YouTube channel in 2016, PW now offers education to students through its YouTube channels, including vernacular languages.

PW aims to create a hybrid education ecosystem in the country by establishing tech-enabled offline and hybrid centres in cities nationwide. PW’s offerings span various educational segments, including test preparation, a skilling vertical, higher education, and education abroad. PW has raised funding from investors, including Hornbill Capital, Light speed Ventures, West Bridge and GSV Ventures.
