VOs tour 29 Panchayats in the first phase

SHOPIAN: The first phase of Back to Village-5 (B2V5) programme concluded today in 29 Panchayats of the district, weth Prabari Officers/Visiting Officers (VOs) remaining stationed at respective panchayats and holding public interactions on priority while taking appraisal of Centrally sponsored schemes including JJM, PMJAY, MGNREGA, PMAY, 14th FC and other schemes.

On the occasion, the visiting officers stressed upon officials on saturation of KCC, Soil Health Cards, Golden Cards, Land passbooks, etc.

Awareness about self- employment schemes like, MUMKIN, NRLM, Jan Bhagidari were also provided to the people on the occasion.

Pledge ceremonies under NMBA, cultural programmes, cleanliness drives, inaugurations of PMAY houses and roads etc were also conducted during culmination of phase first of the B2V-5 programme.

Visiting officers also held interactions with field functionaries and enquired about interventions being made in the Panchayats for their overall development.

Field visits to government institutions and inspections of works sites were also done during the day.

PRIs, local people and officials took part with enthusiastic fervour across the district.
