KISHTWAR: In line with the guidelines of the district administration, Patel Engineering Ltd. has employed project-affected families at the Kiru and Kwar hydroelectric power projects.
The company has hired five workers for Kiru HEPP and nine for Kwar HEPP. To date, Patel Engineering Ltd. has hired a total of 85 workers in Kiru and 32 in Kwar from project-affected families and will continue to provide employment opportunities in the future.
The district administration has been vigilant in ensuring that project-affected families are adequately provided with livelihoods. The company’s efforts towards sustainable development are in compliance with the appropriate rules for operation in the district.
