SRINAGAR: CPI(M) leader and MLA M Y Tarigami on Sunday said that various issues were discussed during the all-party meeting of the National Conference (NC) and its allies. He stated that labourers’ concerns would be raised in the upcoming discussions.

“We will demand that the central minimum wages be implemented,” Tarigami told reporters after the meeting.

He further expressed hope that the central government would take steps to restore Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, fulfilling the aspirations of its people.

The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his residence, was attended by leaders from the NC, Congress, CPI(M), AAP, and an independent legislator.
