Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally reaches district Reasi

REASI: The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally, initiated by the Lt. Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha, today reached District Reasi, marking a significant milestone in its journey to promote road safety awareness.
The rally commenced its journey from Raj Bhawan Srinagar on May 2, 2024, with the noble objective of traversing through all 20 districts of Jammu & Kashmir to advocate for safer roads and reduce the alarming rate of road accidents in the region.
District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, flagged off the rally from District Reasi, emphasizing the critical importance of such initiatives in safeguarding precious lives lost to preventable road accidents. He commended the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation for its relentless efforts in promoting road safety awareness and reiterated the urgent need for collective action to address this pressing issue.
The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally aims to instill a culture of responsible driving and adherence to traffic regulations across all segments of society, thereby contributing to the overarching goal of saving lives and preventing road accidents.
