 Dr Simmi Tiwari highlights vast potential of PM’s Health Infrastructure Mission

DODA: A significant event, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was organized today at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah. The chief guest for this notable occasion was Dr. Simmi Tiwari, Joint Director in the Ministry of Health, Government of India. Dr. Tiwari received a warm welcome upon her arrival at the hospital.

In her address to the health community, Dr. Tiwari emphasized the importance of coordination and teamwork in delivering health benefits to the local area. She urged the health department to fully utilize its facilities and infrastructure for the betterment of society. Highlighting the Pradhan Mantri Infrastructure Scheme, she mentioned its vast potential in strengthening the health sector’s infrastructure and functioning.

Dr. Tiwari also took the opportunity to commend the frontline health workers for their dedicated service to the community. A key highlight of the event was the distribution of golden health cards to attendees under the PM JAY-SEHAT Scheme, a gesture symbolizing the commitment to public health and welfare.

The event saw the participation of several dignitaries, including Dr. Hamid Zargar, Chief Medical Officer Doda; Dr. Mohd Ashraf, Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah; Anoop Kumar, Block Development Officer Bhaderwah; Yudhvir Singh Thakur, the DDC Counsellor West and Shabir Khan, Sarpanch Udrana B. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort across various sectors in enhancing the region’s health services.
