SRINAGAR: The Government today informed that 229 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 41 from Jammu division and 188 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 476932.
Moreover, 395 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 91 from Jammu division and 304 from Kashmir division. 02 COVID deaths have been reported from Jammu division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 476932 positive cases, 2001 are Active Positive (331 in Jammu Division and 1669 in Kashmir Division),
470150 have recovered and 4781 have died; 2349 in Jammu division and 2432 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin also informs that 23,355 doses of COVID Vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours across Jammu and Kashmir bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 2,41,94,226 till date.
The Bulletin further said that out of 26404361 test results available, 476932 samples have tested positive and 25927429 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 10173 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6699125 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 163 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2001 in isolation and 369 in home surveillance. Besides, 6691811 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 61 cases, Baramulla reported 30 cases, Budgam 31 cases, Pulwama reported 07 cases, Kupwara reported 14 cases, Anantnag reported 15 cases, Bandipora reported 04 cases, Ganderbal reported 05 cases, Kulgam reported 19 cases while as Shopian reported 02 fresh case for today.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 22 cases, Udhampur 04, Rajouri reported no fresh case, Doda 01, Kathua 03, Samba 07, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 01, Ramban 03 and Reasi reported no fresh case for today.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
