J&K Police Public School, Srinagar celebrates Annual Day

SRINAGAR: J&K Police Public School, Srinagar today celebrated Annual Day with grandeur, themed around the ‘Importance of Grandparents’. The theme was aimed to honor the invaluable role of grandparents in nurturing and guiding young minds.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Snehal Vijay Kumar, Senior Member of JK Police Wives Welfare Association (JKPWWA) and Sujit Kumar Singh, IGP Security, who is also the Administrative Officer JKPPS Bemina and other JKPWWA Members.

Students from various classes participated enthusiastically, showcasing their talents through beautifully costumed performances, particularly in plays that highlighted respect, love, and gratitude for grandparents. In addition, vibrant stalls were set up, adding a festive touch to the event. These stalls were enjoyed by all guests, especially the grandparents, who found a special place during celebrations.

The School Principal, Snigdha Singh Chauhan, welcomed all guests and  emphasized on enduring wisdom and love that grandparents bring into students’ lives. Following her speech, Vice Principal Pragati Pandey extended heartfelt thanks to all participants, special guests, and the Chief Guest for their gracious presence.

The event concluded on a high note with the distribution of certificates of appreciation and awards. Students who excelled in the recent mid-term examinations and participants in various performances were recognized for their achievements.

The Annual Day celebration proved to be a heartwarming tribute to family bonds and an enriching experience for everyone present.
