JK BOSE postpones exam as class 12th students receive class 11th question paper

SRINAGAR: A big lapse in affairs of J&K Board of School Education surfaced after students of Class 12th were given question papers of 11th Standard, leaving thousands of students across Jammu and Kashmir in distress.

Reports said that students who appeared for exams made hue and cry over, prompted authorities to postpone the Class 12th examination of Physical Education subject which was scheduled today. When contacted Board officials they said it was a “packaging error”, and added the scheduled examination has been cancelled and new date will be notified soon.

“The Class 12th students were given question papers meant for 11th grade due to a packaging error across UT. As a result, today’s Physical Education paper has been canceled, and a new date will be announced soon,” a senior Board official said.
