JAMMU: Information Technology department today organized one day interactive workshop on JKMYGOV for School Education Department (SED).
The central MYGOV team from New Delhi also participated in the workshop.
During the workshop, two separate sessions were held for Jammu and Srinagar (in virtual mode) hosted by Senior Consultant, IT Department, Puneet Kant and Shivangi Verma from MYGOV Delhi Team under the guidance of Additional Secretary, IT Department, Satish Kumar Sharma.
The sessions were followed by a presentation on the guidelines and registration process by Senior Consultant of IT Department.
Additional Secretary gave an overview of the program and mentioned that the JKMYGOV instance is an interactive citizen engagement platform that collaborates with government bodies to engage with citizens for policy formulation and seeks the opinion of people on issues/ topics of public interest and welfare. He added that UT-level best practices can be discussed and presented to the public through this interactive digital platform.
Additional Secretary also said that the mandate of this session was to seek unique ideas and suggestions of public interest on www.jk.mygov.in portal. He requested the officials of the School Education Department to visit and register on the portal and share unique UT-level ideas/initiatives with the department for vide publicity through this portal.
The workshop witnessed participation of more than 200 officers and officials of School Education Department participated.
