CHANDIGARH: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya on Tuesday said that the state government was committed to ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ and good governance.

In his address to the House on the first day of the Haryana Assembly’s Budget session, the Governor also mentioned about the Ram temple in Ayodhaya.

He said the state government used e-governance to provide benefits to the public and brought changes in the state and lives of the common people.

The Governor also appreciated various initiatives of the state government including the Parivar Pehchan Patra.

This is the last Budget session of the current BJP-JJP government in the state. CM Manohar Lal Khattar, who holds the Finance portfolio, will present the Budget for 2024-25 on February 23.

A no-confidence motion and 25 calling attention motions have been proposed to put the Khattar government in a spot. Besides, the ongoing farmers’ agitation is set to add fuel to the fire.
