Short film showcasing district-level initiatives & achievements also screened
KULGAM: Under the aegis of Good Governance Week: Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore, the District Administration Kulgam today organized a dissemination Workshop at the Conference Hall, Kulgam.
The event was jointly presided over by Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, M Afzal Parray and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan.
A significant number of people from various areas attended the workshop, which aimed to enhance public engagement and ensure efficient service delivery.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Chairperson highlighted the importance of the week-long programme in bridging the gap between the administration and the public. He emphasized that such initiatives are pivotal in resolving the issues of people directly at their doorsteps, ensuring transparency and accessibility.
Deputy Commissioner in his address stated that ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ is a nationwide initiative aimed at improving service delivery and addressing public grievances effectively. He also added that the administration is committed to making governance more efficient and people-centric.
During the programme, resource persons from various departments provided detailed insights into government schemes and initiatives, encouraging the public to avail the benefits of these programmes.
