ANANTNAG: In preparation for the upcoming home voting process scheduled to commence from May 19 in 3-Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency, a comprehensive review meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) for postal ballots today at the VC Hall of DC Office Complex Anantnag.
The meeting was informed that this historic initiative, marking the first instance of home voting in a Lok Sabha Election, aims to extend the franchise to the elderly and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
