BANDIPORA: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed, the District Programme Officer (DPO) ICDS, Bandipora, M Ashraf Hakak today visited under- construction building of One Stop Centre (OSC) for women at Bandipora to take stock of progress of construction work.
It was given out that the building is constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.48.69 lac. The building is near completion and will soon be made functional to streamline activities of OSC, MSK and allied services regarding women welfare.
He was apprised that OSC has registered 193 cases in the district till date, out of which 150 cases have been disposed-off.
It was informed that 26 cases are under process in the Centre and 17 cases are under process for adjudication in District Court Bandipora.
Hakak, on the occasion stressed on the executing agency to expedite the completion of pending work to complete the building construction within set deadlines.
