DODA: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Harvinder Singh, who is also Chairman of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), conducted interviews for applicants aspiring establish self employment ventures under JKREGP and Mission Youth Schemes. The interviews were conducted in the mini meeting hall of the DC office complex.
The DDC was joined by a panel of officials, including Project Officer General Manager District Industries and Commerce, S. Paramjeet Singh, Chief Planning Officer Manesh Kumar, ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta, DSWO Tariq Parveez, and AD Employment Nehal Pandit, along with other committee members. The panel offered valuable guidance to candidates, advising them on enhancing their proposals to align with the self-employment goals and improve their chances of selection.
During the interviews, the DDC emphasized the importance of sustainable, locally relevant, and eco-friendly business models. He encouraged applicants to develop innovative ideas that would contribute to the district’s economic growth and employment opportunities. The committee members approved several cases under initiatives like Mission Youth and JKREGP) being implemented by the KVIB, demonstrating support for entrepreneurship in the district.
The applicants expressed optimism about their projects and appreciated the DDC office’s encouragement and guidance. Through such initiatives, Doda aims to cultivate a thriving business environment that drives economic development and job creation.
