District Administration Samba welcomes Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra at Tapyal

SAMBA: The District Administration of Samba warmly welcomed the first batch of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2024 at Tapyal today.

Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma, and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Vinay Kumar, were present to receive the devotees. Local residents of Samba also welcomed the pilgrims and interacted with them, creating a warm and hospitable environment.

The event was attended by ADC Suresh Sharma, SDM Gadhwal Sunaina Mehta, and several other government functionaries of the civil administration, security forces, religious leaders, and prominent citizens.

 Abhishek Sharma extended his best wishes to the devotees for a comfortable and safe pilgrimage, urging them to follow all guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable spiritual journey.

The pilgrims expressed their gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the District Administration, and the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board for the comprehensive security, boarding, lodging, and other facilities provided to them. The comprehensive arrangements   made the   holy   Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrimage experience smooth and secure for devotees coming from different parts of the country.

Deputy Commissioner, along with other officials, interacted with the pilgrims to gather first-hand feedback regarding the facilities provided at the Langar. He emphasized that the District Administration, in coordination with the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, Social and Religious Langer Organizations, has made extensive arrangements for the boarding, lodging, and other essential services for the Yatries.

After enjoying lunch and completing the issuance of RFID at Nonath and Chichi Mata, the pilgrims continued their journey towards Jammu.
