DODA: Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, the District Administration Doda organized Block Diwas events at multiple locations across the district to address public issues.
Senior district and sector officers were present at the Block Diwas venues to address grievances and raise awareness about various individual and community welfare schemes. The program aimed to enhance public outreach, with significant directions given by DC Doda and other concerned heads to ensure the smooth implementation of development initiatives and the swift resolution of public issues.
The event celebrated public participation and highlighted the administration’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in governance.
The Block Diwas programs were held at various sub-divisions, including Block HQ Bhalla in Sub Division Bhaderwah, Village Dhosa Block Changa in Sub Division Gandoh, Panchayat Ghar Kuthyara in Sub Division Assar, and Nagni Block Kahara in Sub Division Thathri. The ADDC Doda Pran Singh, ADC Doda Sudershan Kumar, SDMs teshildars and BDOs actively facilitated the smooth conduct of the programs in their respective areas.
Public attendance was encouraged, and citizens were invited to present their concerns and provide feedback to the administration.
The Block Diwas events also featured discussions on the effective implementation of government schemes and initiatives aimed at improving local infrastructure and services. Directions were given for the timely completion of ongoing projects and for ensuring that benefits of welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without delay. Public health, education, and rural development were key focus areas, with officials emphasizing the importance of community involvement in these sectors.
