District Admin Reasi organises medical checkup camp for sanitation workers

REASI: As part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada initiative, the district administration of Reasi organized a medical checkup camp for sanitation workers at DC office Complex, to ensure the health and well-being of those who play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan addressed the sanitation workers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the area. He encouraged them to report individuals who litter and to advise them against dirtying the environment. Additionally, he instructed the district health officer to register sanitation workers who do not have PMJAY cards. He also highlighted the need for sanitation workers to clean the drainage channels regularly to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene.

The medical checkup camp provided comprehensive health screenings for all the sanitation workers, ensuring they are fit and healthy to continue their essential duties.

ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samayal, ACD Pardeep Kumar, I/C CMO Ashok Kumar, CHO, BDO and other officers were present during the camp.
