SRINAGAR: On the eve of upcoming 76th Independence Day, the Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal today reviewed the preparedness for the celebration of Independence Day.
On the occasion, the Director gave on spot directions to the concerned agriculture officers to unfurl the National Flag on each and every office of the Agriculture Department in Kashmir.
While interacting with the officers, Iqbal said that all the officers of Agriculture Department in Kashmir Division should attend the Independence Day celebrations in their respective offices and then should attend the general District Administration function.
Later Director Agriculture Kashmir visited Potato Seed Development Farm (PSDF) Kalnag located at 8500 m.a.s.l elevation in Kashmir and conducted a meeting with the officer in-charge and applauded his work.
The Director was accompanied by Division Seed Certification Officer Kashmir Sheikh Imran, District Agriculture Officer Extension Anantnag Malik Riyaz, Officer Incharge Farm Bilal Ahmd Mantoo, Agriculture Extension Assistant and other officers of the Department.
