DDC Shopian reviews progress under ADF 2022-2023

SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers of Rural Development Department to review the status and progress of development works taken under Area Development Fund (ADF) of District Capex, Budget 2022-23.

During the meeting threadbare discussions were held on various aspects related to expeditious execution of developmental works under Area Development Fund (ADF) including Works of PRI, DDC and BDC Grants.

The DDC took block wise progress of works completion from ACD and BDOs and expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved till date.

It was apprised on the occasion that more than 900 works have been completed under ADF, which aggregates to more than 70 percent works completion till date.

The DDC also took stock of bills submission to Treasuries and emphasized upon BDOs to submit the bills in a time bound manner so that expenditure is booked for timely release of expenditure claims.

The meeting reviewed the status of pending work of NTPHC Ramnagri and it was impressed upon the Police Housing Corporation to complete the remaining finishing work of the hospital immediately.

Executing agencies were instructed to ensure that the allotted works were completed within the given time frame and bills are submitted to the treasury as soon as works are completed.

Among others, the meeting was attended by ADDC, Manzoor Hussain; JDP, Khursheed Ahmad Khatana; ACD, Hilal Ahmad; DTO, M Ayoub; DIO Showkat Hussain; Ex. Engineer, REW; BMO Shopian, BDOs of the district besides other officers and representatives  and officials of PHC, Planning and RDD.
