SAMBA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Rajesh Sharma today reviewed the progress of Credit-Linked Schemes in the district during a meeting held at DC Office Complex.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Samba, Madan Gopal Singh gave a detailed presentation on the progress of various schemes.
The DDC reviewed and discussed the implementation of Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), PM-KISAN, Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) and other credit-linked schemes. He emphasized the need to extend benefits to a larger number of beneficiaries to maximize the impact of these schemes.
The DDC directed bank authorities to enhance credit flow and urged them to prioritize loan sponsorship with proper handholding to ensure beneficiaries receive timely support.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Champa Devi; Chief Horticulture Officer; District Sheep Husbandry Officer; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer; Assistant Director, Fisheries; AGMO; Lead District Manager; Cluster Head J&K Bank and representatives from various banks.
