REASI: District Development Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today took stock of the developmental activities in the district here at a comprehensive review meeting. The focus of the meeting was on evaluating the physical and financial progress achieved under the district Capex for the financial year 2023-24.
At the outset, JD planning Sunita Kanchan gave sector-wise physical and financial progress under the Capex Budget 2023-24. It was informed that all taken up works are targeted to be completed within the current financial year.
Emphasizing the importance of speedy execution of works, the DDC Mahajan urged indenting and executing departments to ensure 100 percent completion of the targeted works by 28th February.
The District Development Commissioner said significant infrastructure projects for the upcoming financial year 2024-25 were outlined. Among the priorities highlighted are the completion of school building constructions, repair of existing buildings, and the provision of essential toilet facilities.
The DDC emphasized the crucial role of the Assistant Commissioner of Development (ACD) in monitoring all projects initiated by the Rural Development Department (RDD) on a daily basis. Additionally, detailed progress reports are to be provided to the District Commissioner (DC) every evening to ensure accountability and timely execution of these endeavors.
ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, ACD Pardeep Kumar, SE PWD, CEO, DTO, XEN PWD Reasi and Mahore, XEN PHE and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
