RAJOURI: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, along with a team of officers, conducted onsite inspection of progress of the Rajouri-Thanamandi-Surankote road, here today.
The DC was informed that of the total 32 kilometer road, 14.7 kilometers has already blacktopped. Additionally, out of 147 culverts, 122 have already been constructed. The DDC emphasized the importance of completing the blacktopping of the road at the earliest and ensuring that the road is constructed as per the prescribed specifications.
To expedite the completion of the road work and maintain quality standards in the construction, the DDC directed all concerned departments to coordinate with each other. He also stressed the need to complete the project within the stipulated timelines, as it is crucial for local connectivity and development.
“We are committed to ensuring that the Rajouri-Thanamandi-Surankote road project is completed on time and to the highest standards,” said the DDC Rajouri.
