DODA: The District Development Commissioner, Doda Harvinder Singh today chaired a review meeting of Medical Doctors/ officials working under Rastriya Bal Swasthya Karyakaram (RBSK) in Doda district at Conference hall DC office Complex Doda.
The meeting aimed to assess the implementation and progress of this vital initiative, which focuses on screening and early intervention for children from birth to 18 years.
The review meeting brought together key stakeholders, including health officials, educators, and community representatives, who discussed various aspects of the program.
The DDC Doda emphasized the importance of RBSK in identifying health issues at an early stage and ensuring timely interventions for children in the district.
During the meeting, participants reviewed critical health indicators related to child health, such as immunization rates, nutritional status, and the prevalence of diseases among children.
The discussions highlighted both achievements and challenges faced in the effective rollout of the program.
While reviewing the component wise progress, DC Doda directed the RBSK Teams to conduct screening of the Children as per protocol set by the GOI for their timely treatment and further management. He asked the concerned to chalk out a comprehensive action plan for visits to the schools and anganwadi centers by the designated teams ensuring full coverage of the beneficiaries.
The DDC Doda also directed the RBSK teams to track and keep upto date record of all the pregnant ladies in the district and maintain a record of them.
Further, DDC Doda also directed the teams to attend and interact with students parents/Guardian during monthly parents meeting in school.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda Manesh Kumar, CMO Doda Dr. Om Kumar, DIO Dr. Varsha Sharma, DIO Doda Nisaq ul Farooq, BMOs, other concerned officers and officials of RBSK.
