UDHAMPUR: District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Krittika Jyotsna today conducted an exhaustive tour of Latyar, Lander area of Block Panchari to take the stock of the ongoing developmental works under taken by PMGSY & PWD sector and inspected the developmental activities.
En-route, the DDC also visited the site of Udaan to NathTop road and assessed the feasibility of alignment of the said road. While inspecting the pace of work of roads and bridges, the DDC stressed for early completion of the projects without compromising the quality of work. She said that roads and bridges are the life line for economic and social development of the area.
The DDC stressed on the concerned officers/officials to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of the ongoing works for their time-bound completion and directed for regular monitoring. The DDC impressed upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the set targets within the current financial year. Executing agencies were asked to ensure close monitoring and follow-up for cent percent completion of execution of works.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Ghan Shyam Singh, Executive Engineers of PWD, PMGSY and other officers of concerned departments were accompanying the DDC.
