SHOPIAN: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that 556 individual cases were cleared under the scheme and that all targets shall be achieved by March, 2025.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all agri allied departments to expedite farmer enrollments on Daksh Kisan, Kisan Sathi and Kisan Khidmat Ghars and ensure the timely completion of courses for all farmers availing incentives under the HADP scheme.
Emphasizing the need for leveraging technology, the DC instructed district officers to mobilize field staff and Krishi Udyamis for the installation of the Kisan Khidmat Ghar (KKG) app on farmer’s mobile devices. This initiative aims to enable farmers to access benefits and adopt innovative agricultural practices effectively.
The Deputy Commissioner further urged all officers and field staff to intensify efforts to reach out to farmers, ensuring maximum participation in HADP initiatives and utilizing available resources to their full potential.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized collaboration and commitment to transforming the agricultural landscape of the district.
