DC reviews implementation of Self-Employment Schemes in Rajouri district

RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of self-employment generation schemes in the district. The meeting took a detailed review about the employment generation under Mumkin, Tejaswini, PMEGP, DIC, KVIB, and other self-employment-oriented programs.

The officers from the concerned departments provided the update on the status of coverage of beneficiaries under these schemes. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to ensure maximum coverage of unemployed youth in the district and directed officers to work in close coordination to help them enroll in these schemes.

He also stressed the importance of creating a supportive and enabling environment for entrepreneurship and job creation in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner urged officers to identify potential areas for and devise strategies to promote employment among the youth. He emphasized the importance of educating the unemployed and educated youth of the district about the various self-employment generation schemes and motivating them to avail the benefits of these programs.

By promoting entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, we can create a brighter future for our youth and contribute to the overall economic development of the district. The efforts of the District Administration to ensure the effective implementation of self-employment generation schemes in Rajouri district demonstrate its commitment to the well-being of the community.
