UDHAMPUR: To discuss and review the preparedness for the smooth and fair conduct of the NEET UG Examination 2025, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Amod Ashok Nagpure today chaired a meeting of officers here at Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Prem Singh, District Information Officer, Rajinder Digra, Chief Education Officer and other concerned officers.
It is pertinent to mention here that the NEET UG Examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a total of 600 candidates expected to appear at two designated centres in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner received a detailed briefing on various logistical and security measures being put in place at the designated examination centres.
She emphasized strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the transparency, integrity and fairness of the examination process.
The DC stressed the importance of thorough frisking procedures at the centres and highlighted the need for robust inter-departmental coordination.
She called for a collaborative and well-synchronized effort by all departments to create a conducive and secure environment for the appearing candidates.
