Says grassroots Development primary concern of Govt, District Administration
REASI: District Development Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan, in a proactive step towards grassroots development, led a Block Diwas meeting here at Sungari Panchayat in Mahore Subdivision today. The initiative aims to address challenges unique to hilly areas, fostering inclusive dialogue on essential services and community welfare.
Residents shared concerns on issues like road connectivity, education, healthcare staff shortages, pending payments, PMAY scheme survey, water and electricity supply, hospital construction, PMGSY, PWD Roads, and the opening of a JK Bank branch.
DDC Mahajan, responsive to concerns, issued on-the-spot directives for prompt issue resolution. Cultural programs showcased local talents, applauded by the audience.
DDC Mahajan pledged to address banking concerns, particularly the absence of a JK Bank branch, aiming for expedited solutions. He stressed the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and announced the commencement of outstanding road initiatives by year-end.
Expressing dedication to education and healthcare, Mahajan declared an unwavering commitment to inclusivity, ensuring no resident is left behind in accessing education and essential services.
Inspecting department stalls, DDC actively engaged with diverse schemes and programs, promoting community empowerment. To enhance financial inclusion, Mahajan distributed six Kissan credit cards during the Sungari Panchayat Block Diwas.
