DC Reasi conducts extensive tour of Mahore-Chassana-Budhal Axis

Assures enhanced road connectivity for public welfare, development

REASI: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan conducted an intensive tour of the Mahore-Chassana-Budhal axis to assess the status of road connectivity in these remote areas. He reviewed the progress of work on Reasi-Arnas-Mahore and Budhal-Mahore-Gool roads, emphasizing the need for swift removal of bottlenecks.

DC Mahajan instructed engineering teams, including the GREF authorities, to accelerate roadwork and ensure timely completion of critical projects.

During the visit, the DC also addressed public concerns at  Sarh and Bagga villages in Mahore and Chassana. He assured them of prompt action to address grievances. The interactions highlighted the administration’s commitment to directly engage with local communities and understand their immediate needs.

Later, the DC inspected Government Middle School in Padder where he interacted with students and teachers to assess educational facilities. He also reviewed the Kisan Khidmat Ghars of the Agriculture Department across Arnas, Dharmari, Mahore and Chassana blocks, ensuring that these centers are delivering necessary support to the district’s farmers.

SDM Mahore Mazzahir Hussain, SDM Dharmari Tariq Aziz, OC GREF Major Aditya and concerned district officers including SE and Xens, CEO, CAO and others accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
