RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is personally overseeing the restoration of essential services and supplies following recent snowfall in the district. He has directed all concerned departments to act promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure public convenience across the district.

Snow clearance operations are underway on a war footing, led by NHAI, PWD, PMGSY, and other departments, to maintain connectivity on NH-44 and link roads. Road safety during these operations remains a top priority.

Additionally, JPDCL teams are actively restoring disrupted power supplies, with the Deputy Commissioner closely monitoring progress to ensure timely results.

In a noteworthy example of administrative efficiency, the family of Muneera Begum, W/O Vaseem Ahmed, R/O Pogal, expressed deep gratitude to DC Ramban and the administration for their swift assistance. Timely road clearance and the provision of an ambulance facilitated her safe and prompt arrival at PHC Ukhral for medical care.
