DC Rajouri presides over DLTFC Meet; clears 56 cases under JKREGP

RAJOURI: The District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) in Rajouri, under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal approved 56 cases today under Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program (JKREGP). These cases encompassed a loan amount of Rs 368 lakh, showcasing the commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and empowering the local youth.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the pivotal role of timely disbursal of loan assistance to the deserving beneficiaries. Recognizing the significance of prompt support, the District Development Commissioner reaffirmed the commitment to fulfilling the objectives of the scheme. The Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program, launched by the government, aims to stimulate economic growth, nurture entrepreneurship, and create self-employment avenues for young individuals.

The approval of 56 cases under the JKREGP signifies a significant stride towards providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to the youth of Rajouri. By extending financial support and encouraging entrepreneurial ventures, the program aims to address the unemployment challenges faced by the region, ultimately fostering economic development and social empowerment.
