POONCH: The District Level Committee (DLC) on Change of Land Use met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal. The meeting took place in the meeting hall of the DC Office.
During the session, the Committee deliberated on ten cases related to Change of Land Use (CLU). After thorough discussions, three cases were approved, while the remaining cases were deferred for further consideration. Each case was evaluated on its merits and potential impacts, ensuring a balanced approach to land use changes in the district.
The DC emphasized the importance of expediting the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to applicants, contingent upon the verification of all necessary documents. He underscored the need for strict adherence to guidelines and policies when processing CLU cases to uphold transparency and accountability.
The meeting was attended by various officials, including GM DIC Poonch, CEO PDA, CAO, Xen PWD Poonch, Xen I&FC, Xen JPDCL, as well as officers from GREF and other concerned departments.
