POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik, today conducted comprehensive visit to a number of examination centres in preparation for the upcoming JKSSB examination for the post of Constable in the Home Department, scheduled on 01 December 2024.
The DC visited the examination centres including SKC GDC Poonch, Government ITI, Boys Higher Secondary school, Christ School, B.Ed College to assess the readiness, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place for a seamless and fair examination process.
The DC reviewed seating arrangements, security measures and the availability of essential amenities such as drinking water, first aid, provision of lighting in the examination halls and availability of essential facilities to guarantee a favorable environment for candidates. He emphasised the importance of maintaining the integrity and smooth conduct of the examination.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that all possible measures have been taken to prevent any unfair means during the examination. Mobile phones and other electronic devices will be strictly prohibited within the examination centres.
He expressed the commitment of the district administration to uphold the highest standards of integrity and fairness during the examination, ensuring its success for the benefit of the candidates and the region.
