KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara and inspected Covid Control Room and other measures taken by the hospital administration to tackle with the latest wave of Covid-19 in the district.
During the visit, the DC inspected Covid Control Room established in the hospital and took stock of the arrangements put in place.
He interacted telephonically with the Covid patients who were in home isolation and enquired about their health condition and the facilities provided by the hospital administration.
He took stock of other sections of the hospital including IPD, OPD, X-Ray and Gynea, besides, interacted with doctors and patients.
The DC also inspected the Triage established in the hospital for special health care of Covid patients with comorbidities.
Talking to media persons, the DC said that triages have been established in two hospitals of the district including SDH Kupwara and District Hospital Handwara with an aim to provide special health care to the Covid patients with different comorbidities.
He said that this is in addition to the regular healthcare and guidance provided by District Covid Control Room and block level control room to the Covid patients to have check on their other ailments.
