KUPWARA: The District Registration Authority (DRA) for Registration of Clinical Establishments met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray to review the progress of registration of clinical establishments in the district.
SSP Kupwara, Yougal Manhas; ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; CMO Kupwara, Medical Superintendents of District Hospital/SDH Kupwara and other concerned attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the DC said that the health sector is a very sensitive sector which receives top priority of the Government adding that the registration and regulation of clinical establishments will ensure better health services to the people.
The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure registration of all private clinics functioning in the district within a week’s time and warned about imposition of hefty fines on the clinics found unregistered after a week.
Earlier, the DC got a detailed feedback for procedure of the clinical registration in the district and was informed that 41 clinics have been registered by District Registering Authority under Clinical Establishment Act 2021 so far.
