KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, today led a team of officials to Sinthan Maidan to review the preparations for the 2-day Sinthan Festival, which is scheduled on April 29-30.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about the current status of the arrangements and discussed strategies with different stakeholders to ensure the success of the festival.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the Sinthan Festival aims to provide the best experience to visitors. He reiterated the need for a coordinated effort to ensure that all preparations are put in place well in time. The success of the festival would depend on the effective collaboration of all stakeholders involved, he said and urged all concerned officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to make the event a grand success.
He was apprised by GM NHIDCL that Sinthan pass will be opened by tomorrow i.e. 27th April, which will encourage flow of tourists from Kashmir side.
