Directs bank officers to reach out to remotest parts of district
DODA: Providing a hassle-free and instant cash management solution for convenience of the general public, J&K Bank Ltd today commissioned a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) in the J&K Bank’s Main Branch Doda City.
The self-service terminal accepts and dispenses cash thereby easing the rush at the bank branches besides facilitating the people with the instant cash management mechanism.
Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan inaugurated the commissioning of CRM in presence of Zonal Head, Fayaz Ahmed Batt and Ved Prakash Gupta, President Municipal Council Doda amid a gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens, local businessmen and other officers of the bank.
Since the machine works round the clock on holidays and Sundays, the CRM will specifically cater to the cash needs of the traders and businessmen of the area by automating and streamlining the manual cash management system thus saving their valuable time and efforts.
The locals, especially the traders and business fraternity, hailed the bank for the customer-friendly initiative and commitment to facilitate better customer experiences through innovative technology interventions.
The DC praised the efforts of J&K bank for the major contribution of J&K Bank in rendering superclass banking facilities to the public at far off places by opening of bank branches and Business Units.
The DC directed the office bearers of the banks to make aware the public about digital Literacy and the Dos and Don’t for using of online banking services so that the bank customers don’t fall prey to the online fraudsters, scammers and hackers.
