Asks for saturation of indicators at panchayat level to achieve tangible results
RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary on Friday evaluated the progress achieved in the implementation of Aspirational Block Program (ABP) in the Khari Block, emphasizing the importance of converging resources and improving infrastructure to enhance the quality of life for citizens.
The DC, while chairing a review meeting, asked for the saturation of parameters/ indicators at panchayat level to achieve better and tangible impact on the living standard and inclusive development of the area. He constituted Village/ Panchayat level teams comprising local VLW, Patwari, ASHA worker, and Anganwadi Worker with the mandate of collecting the actual/ primary data to assess the saturation of each Indicator. The teams shall submit the data by the 15th of July 2024 for taking appropriate measures to ensure that all the Parameters are met in accordance with the programme guidelines.
The Deputy Commissioner urged stakeholders to work together to achieve the programme’s objectives, focusing on key performance indicators in health, nutrition, education, agriculture, water resources, financial inclusion, and basic infrastructure.
The review meeting was attended by ADDC Ramban Roshan Lal, DPO ICDS Jahangir Hashmi, SDM Gool Pawan Kumar Goswami, SDM Banihal Rizwan Asgar, ACD Ramban Srinath Suman, ACP Ramban Ashfaq Khanji, CPO Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, DIO DIPR, CMO Dr Kamal Jee Zadoo, CEO, CAO, BDOs, Ex Ens and other concerned officials.
The ABP, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2023, aims to saturate essential government services in Aspirational blocks across the country, including Khari Block in Ramban district.
