Asks officers to adhere to timeline prescribed under Public Services Guarantee Act
DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a virtual meeting of key Officials of the revenue department to review their performance under various priority indicators.
Reviewing the services to be provided under Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA), Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to adhere to the timeline envisaged in the Act and any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously including imposition of Rs 5000 per day fine on the officer/ officials responsible for delay.
Tehsildars were asked to conduct random inspection of Anganwadi Centres, Health and Educational institutions and report on their working. “Tehsildars shall also submit a proposal for new nomination of Lumberdars and Chowkidars to the Deputy Commissioner’s office by today, so that the order in this regard is issued within two days positively’ he asked.
On the anti-encroachment drive, the Tehsildars were instructed to retrieve the encroached land from big land grabbers on priority.
Threadbare discussion was also held on other key indicators which included latest position of Reconstruction of Missing record/ Massives; Implementation of online services; Progress of delineation of Gair Mumkin Khads; Details of Revenue Court cases; Aap Ka Tehsildar Apkey Gaon Mai; Attestation of pending Mutations; Details of Stone/Hot/ Wet Mix Plants operating in the district; Utilisation of funds under District Capex and identification of land for Revenue buildings.
The DC directed the Revenue Officers to remain available/ accessible to the public in office, on telephone/ Mobile and through Wattsapp and other means of social media, especially during winter months. He reiterated that public services and grievances redressal must be given foremost priority.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, ACR Doda, SDMs, all Tehsildars, and other concerned officials of DC Doda.
