AE, JEs join review meeting from construction sites
DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan along with ADDC, Pran Singh, all Superintending Engineers of PWD, JPDCL & Jal Shakti department, ACD, ACP and other concerned on Tuesday inspected the status of ongoing works in the district virtually as AEs, JEs and other field functionaries joined the review meeting from the construction sites online.
The DC inspected JJM works, Road works, Building works, MGNREGA works, JPDCL works, and other developmental works ongoing across the district and applauded/ complimented the best quality works, reprimanded some ongoing works, and issued instructions for rectification on some of the works as per the approved DPR. He complimented SE JKPDCL for more than 89% expenditure and for the completion of more than 90% of works and has asked other departments to learn from their counterparts in JPDCL.
The ADDC, while interacting with the field officers, asked executing departments to send the details of those works not feasible or executable during the current financial year by tomorrow, or it will be presumed that all works are feasible and be completed by 31st of March this year.
Showing displeasure over pendency on financial progress, the departments involved were asked to send the expenditure bills of all completed works to the treasury/ concerned DDO by Saturday this week to avoid disciplinary action.
The DC also reviewed the physical and financial progress of works approved under the regular annual District Capex Budget, Area Development Plan (ADP), JJM, MGNREGA, and other developmental schemes.
The DC directed the SEs, ACD and XENs to closely supervise the progress of ongoing works both physically and financially at all the levels and submit the daily progress report to his office by 5pm regularly.
The Superintending Engineers of PWD, JSD, and JPDCL and ACD Doda also interacted with the field functionaries and instructed them to stick to the timeline, ensure quality work and book the expenditure on all the completed work across the district by Saturday this week.
