DC Doda inspects establishment of Langar for Mindal Yatris at Ganpat Bridge

DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan   Doda today visited the Ganpat Bridge area to assess the arrangements for the establishment of Langar for Yatris ahead of Mindal Yatra.

The purpose of the visit was to ensure the smooth functioning and proper maintenance of hygiene at the langar for the yatrees who would be coming from Katra and REASI areas on their way to the Chandi Mata Temple in Mindal village, Himachal Pradesh.

Every year, a Langar is set up to provide food, water, refreshments, and prashaad to the yatris participating in the Yatra. The DC Doda was accompanied by officers from the police department, and together they held a brief discussion with the langar organizers. During the meeting, the DC emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the duration of the langar for the yatrees.

It is crucial to ensure that the langar facilities meet the necessary standards to guarantee the well-being of the yatrees. The Deputy Commissioner’s visit served as a reminder to the organizers to prioritize cleanliness and sanitation to provide a safe and comfortable experience for the yatrees attending the Yatra.
